Sprucing things up a bit

As the site faithful may already be aware I’ve made some changes to the site which include:

an improved site theme,
an updated logo (subtle update),
a link to an rss feed (link here) which you can add to your favorite feed reader,
and most importantly, a way to receive updates via email.
